Rose Davidovics nee Davidovics, Holocaust survivor, 88, beloved wife of the late Bernat; loving mother of Edith (Ben) Reznik, Sarah (Allan) Budweg and the late Freeda (Al) Hofeld; devoted Grandma of Dahlia (Avi) Fox, Tammy (Kevin) Saliba, Valerie Reznik, Baron Reznik, Zach Hofeld, Joshua Budweg and Jeffery Budweg. Adored great grandmother of Shayna, Shira, Avery and Madelyn. Chapel service, Wednesday at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. December 13th, 2016

Rose was a strong, but very sweet, woman. In spite of her advanced age, I never thought of her as frail, or as someone who I might not see in shul over the next few weeks. But I am very sorry that I will not, and I will miss her. May her memory be for a blessing. My sympathies to her family.
